Olu is passionate about growing the positive impact of digital technology in underserved communities, she is honoured to be a co-founder of Black talent and leadership in STEM, an industry wide alliance focused on closing the digital skills gap for black talent, delivered in partnership with Homerton College, Cambridge University, Cambridge Wireless, 10,000 Interns Foundation and Synergy Solutions. Olu currently serves as the Programme Director, in her role, she works closely with her fellow co-founders, team and Youth Council to deliver the transformative mission which is to provide equity of opportunity and increase the representation of minorities in STEM, with a focus on Black talent. Olu is also the CEO and Founder of Synergy Solutions, a specialist customer experience management consultancy practice, focussed on helping companies stay at the forefront of evolving technology and the ever-changing world of customer expectations, she serves as a board member and Vice Chair of CW (Cambridge Wireless) and is part of the executive team for Age Care Technologies, a research led, high growth company with a mission to improve the lives of 100 million older people, globally. Olu has been a successful mentor/coach on a number of programmes with Aston Centre for Growth, including Help to Grow: Management, Small Business Leadership and Green Advantage amongst others, she is also a mentor to students on the Masters of Entrepreneurship offered by Cambridge Judge Business School and Homerton Change Makers, University of Cambridge. Olu holds a BA honours degree in Business Studies and an MBA in Project Management from Henley Business School.

Abhi Naha is the Digital Accelerator Director at PwC, creating and leading a new tech division. The Digital Accelerator solves innovation challenges using the power of scale ups and high trust ecosystems for greater insights, impact and value creation. Abhi was the CEO, Founder of the Product as a Service Consortium and CCO of CW Cambridge Wireless a leading Technology Membership Community. Before this Abhi was the CEO and Founder of Zone V (Easology) a Cambridge start up backed by Qualcomm and ARM focused on empowering people with aging eyes and visual impairment through inclusively designed smartphone software. He held senior roles at Powermat, San Jose based Synaptics and advisory roles for Goldman Sachs and Silver Lake in the area of mobile user interface technologies. Abhi is a senior advisor to an autonomous vehicle mobility scale up Conigital, Industry Partner for Arjun Infrastructure Partners with 5 Billion Euros of assets under management and an Ambassador for the United Nations Global Sustainability Index Institute. Abhi studied Electronics and Electrical Engineering, has an MBA in International Marketing and was approached by Cambridge University Press to co-author a book with Qualcomm on Mobile Handset Design. Holding a post of Senior Associate at Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge University Abhi is a Co-founder of the ‘Black Talent & Leadership in STEM’ alliance in partnership with Homerton College, Cambridge University, Cambridge Wireless, 10,000 Interns Foundation and Synergy Solutions.

Soraya is driven by her passion to promote innovation, diversity and entrepreneurship, especially amongst the next generation. She feels honoured to be a cofounder of the Black Talent and Leadership in STEM Alliance where the mission of increasing more black talent in the tech sector is very close to her heart and she feels strongly committed to championing this important cause to help achieve an equitable society, in partnership with Homerton College, Cambridge University, Cambridge Wireless, 10,000 Interns Foundation and Synergy Solutions. She also feels privileged to be involved with the ambitious Homerton Changemakers Leadership Programme where she is currently the Director of Engagement & Operations, and is also an Associate Fellow of Homerton College at the University of Cambridge. Soraya also currently holds the Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence role at the University of East Anglia, where she helps students, academics and start-ups who want to become entrepreneurs. After many years as part of the senior leadership team of Tribal Group Plc, Soraya became the first CEO of Cambridge Wireless (CW) from 2007 to 2015, where she was successful in growing the business from a one-person company to a membership cluster of over 425 companies, making it one of the premier tech clusters in the UK. She currently sits on a few advisory boards where she advises in areas like entrepreneurship, governance, equality/diversity, strategy development and marketing. Born in Malaysia, Soraya holds BSc and MSc degrees from Indiana University, USA, and a PhD from the University of Cambridge (Education).

My primary passion lies in innovation and creation, particularly the link between scientific discoveries and creating products that are useful for the world in multiple different areas.

My fascination with how geography influences our world led me to explore the intricacies of asset management during an enriching internship. Beyond finance, I found purpose in volunteering, driven by a desire to create positive change. I'm particularly excited about the opportunity presented by the black talent program. I'm eager to contribute my skills and perspectives, not just from my academic and professional experiences but also from my commitment to making a difference in my community. My experience as a Homerton Changemakers Ambassador has led me to aspire to make a positive social impact on my wider community. I'm passionate about leveraging my knowledge in geography and finance to empower and support the program's initiatives, offering a unique perspective and a drive for meaningful impact.

However, I love a challenge and I’ve always been a techie, so alongside my work in pharma, I decided to undertake an MSc in Computer Science. Fast forward 2 years, I completed my MSc and made the switch into the tech industry. I love science, technology and all things innovation; and I haven’t looked back since! You can find me working in the Cambridge tech scene - I’m now a software engineer specialised in developing embedded software systems within the MedTech and Wireless industries. I’m also passionate about DEI within the tech industry, hoping to help make the tech space a more equal and diverse place to be.

I am largely self-taught and I have had a taste of loads of different fields in technology (mobile development, cloud, DevOps, IOT etc). With all my experimentation, application development remains my first love for now. I get a special feeling when I am able to create a product that actually solves a problem and has tangible economic or social value. I have worked with different companies in different capacities from junior to senior roles and with each role I always try to give and get my best experience. Every role for me is an opportunity to learn as well as an opportunity to share experiences.

Elijah Ohiwerei is a final-year mechanical engineering student at Anglia Ruskin University and a consultant in the building services engineering sector. He also serves as President of ARU Orators, a student-led public speaking society that helps members grow in communication, confidence, and leadership. His Christian faith plays a central role in shaping his outlook, encouraging him to serve others through both his work and community roles. Elijah believes in creating access and designing systems that work for everyone, regardless of background
